Privacy Policy

iam. collects only the minimum information needed to handle quote inquiries and operate the website, and processes it securely in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.

1. Personal information we collect

We collect the following items through the quote inquiry form (/en/contact). We do not offer membership registration.

  • Required: name, email, project type, budget range, project description, and the date and time of consent to the collection and use of personal information
  • Optional: phone number, company/organization, preferred start date, reference link

2. Information collected automatically

To understand how the website is used, improve the service, and respond to security incidents and failures, the following information is collected automatically when you visit. We do not use cookies.

  • Visit statistics: the address of the page visited (excluding query parameters such as search terms), the referral source (the domain of the previous site or the utm_source value), and the date and time of the visit
  • Distinguishing visitors: instead of the IP address and browser information (User-Agent) themselves, the visit statistics database stores only a one-way hash of them combined with a random value that is generated daily and deleted the next day. Once the random value is deleted, visitors cannot be re-identified from the stored value.
  • To keep the referral source while you move between pages, the external referral origin (the domain of the previous site) and the utm_source value are stored in the browser tab storage (sessionStorage) and are deleted when you close the tab.
  • Service usage records: for security and failure response, server access records (IP address, date and time of access, requested address and method, and result) are kept in server logs, and login attempts and administrative actions on the admin screen (IP address, date and time) are kept as activity records. Server logs do not include query parameters (such as search terms) or submitted content.
  • Retention: visit statistics are automatically deleted 400 days after collection, server logs after 90 days, and admin screen activity records after 1 year.

3. Purpose of collection and use

The information in Section 1 is used solely to review quote inquiries, consult with you and reply, and the information in Section 2 solely for visit statistics, service improvement, and security and failure response; neither is used for any other purpose.

4. Retention period and destruction

  • Quote inquiry information in Section 1 is destroyed on whichever date comes first: 1 year after the consultation ends or 2 years after submission at the latest. Information collected automatically under Section 2 is deleted after the periods stated in Section 2.
  • If the data subject requests deletion of the information in Section 1, it is destroyed without delay. Visit statistics under Section 2 are stored in a form that does not identify individuals and are therefore not subject to individual deletion, and admin screen activity records are kept for their retention period for security incident response and then deleted.
  • Electronic files are deleted using methods that make recovery impossible. However, information remaining in automatic database backups kept for disaster recovery (retained for 7 days) is deleted when the backup retention period expires.

5. Entrustment of personal information processing

We do not provide personal information to third parties. To operate the service, we entrust processing as follows.

6. Rights of data subjects

Data subjects may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information, and may withdraw their consent. Requests may be made to the Chief Privacy Officer below and will be handled without delay.

7. Right to refuse consent

You have the right to refuse consent to the collection and use of personal information. However, if you do not consent to the collection of the required items, we cannot accept your quote inquiry.

8. Security measures

We protect personal information through encryption in transit (HTTPS), administrator authentication with account lockout after failed login attempts, least-privilege access, and retention of records of personal information viewing and export.
